The sweetest family with incredible hospitality! We had been practicing Italian on Duolingo and they helped us where we stumbled and guided us through ordering. Highly recommend for an authentic family restaurant! Would LOVE to know what their house red was. It’s been our favorite wine of our trip!
Amazing local restaurant!! Even if we didn’t have a reservation they let us sit. The service was great and they brought us an amazing red wine (Il Furetto - Brachetto d’Acqui) and we also had the carbonara which was really delicious. We also bought beef tagliata and the stuffed pumpkin flower which both were very tasty. I recommend it.
Excellent family run restaurant. Delicious food and great hosts. Grazie mille Lucia! The food was incredible in all of the 3 days that we have ate there. We'll make sure to return here whenever we visit Rome again.
Best lasagna I’ve ever had! And my girlfriend loved her penne with salmon. It seems like a family owned business. The elderly woman was so lovely and hospitable - brought us these little fried apple bites on the house and tried to speak in English as we don’t speak Italian. Very friendly and authentic Italian cuisine. Highly recommended and definitely coming back again for great food and friendliest staff!
Lovely local restaurant that offers delicious grilled fish. We walked up Via della Giulliana and found this place where we had a delicious dinner and lovely chats with locals and also the owners. We ordered a nicely grilled Salmon and a deliciously seared Tuna steak brilliantly combined with a citrusy Vermentino di Gallura, followed by a homemade Tiramisu. The owners are a lovely older couple that take great effort to make their customers happy. If you are talking a little Italian, you will pretty easily get in a conversation with locals.
Stumbled upon this gem after our first option was full and never have I been so glad for a detour. Their carbonara, cacio e pepe, pinsa margherita and pinsa con porcini e bufala were all excellent. But it was the warmth of their service that made our visit truly memorable. We will be talking about our father’s birthday dinner here for years to come. Grazie mille!
Incredible Roman restaurant in Roma . Their carbonara is outstanding, veal saltimbocca romana is amongst the best you will find anywhere. service is first rate.
